Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of my favourite places to approach from DUMBO, moving from the Manhattan Bridge view on Washington Street toward the waterfront and the Brooklyn Bridge. On warm days the park becomes a shared front yard for the city, with people lying in the grass or sitting along the water looking toward lower Manhattan. This scene is from May 29, 2016. Jane’s Carousel sits in its glass pavilion in the background, the Brooklyn Bridge rises beyond it, and a bride and groom can be spotted taking wedding photographs among the crowd.
